''Quercus viminea'', the Sonoran oak, is a North American species of oaks in the beech family. It is native to northwestern and west-central Mexico (Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, Durango, Nayarit, Jalisco), primarily in the Sierra Madre Occidental.
